The Galloway Family Foundation provides grants for international human rights reporting to the Globalpost. The GlobalPost helps to fill the void in world news coverage by the US news organizations. With a network of award winning journalists around the world living and working in the countries they cover GlobalPost produces reports, video and photography that give a ground-level view on international stories.
The Galloway Family Foundation has funded several of GlobalPost’s special reports based on GFF’s specific areas of interest including their examination of the impact of drones in a series called The Drone Age, Watershed Waste an examination of waste of US funds in Afghanistan and an in depth look at the state of politics and corruption in Kosovo in their three part series Kosovo’s Mafia. GFF and GlobalPost have also partnered in and focused on Labor abuses, particularly in Colombia.
